Missing Dundee schoolgirl found safe and well

A TEENAGE schoolgirl from Dundee, who had been missing from home since Saturday, has been found safe and well.

Earlier this week Tayside Police voiced their “increasing concern” for 14 year-old schoolgirl Demi Hansen who had last been seen at her home in the St Marys area of Dundee at around 5.30pm on Saturday afternoon.

A force spokesman said it was believed that Demi may have travelled to the Cumbernauld area of Strathclyde.

A spokesman for the force said today: “Tayside Police can confirm that Demi Hansen has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone for their assistance and concern.”
