Missing Bathgate woman found safe and well

A GREAT-grandmother who vanished two days ago after setting out on a five minute walk to her local butcher has been safe and well, police have said.

Lothian and Borders Police had been searching for Irene McCawley, 77, who was last seen at around 9am on Wednesday. She arrived at a relative’s address in Bathgate yesterday afternoon.
