Milk carton effort draws stars' help

CELEBRITIES from television, theatre and sport have used their artistic abilities to support British charities.

They have each provided a sketch that will appear on millions of milk cartons across the UK to help raise awareness and highlight the work done by various organisations.

Among the celebrities who have contributed are television presenter Fern Britton, actress and businesswoman Jane Asher, and British Lions and Ospreys rugby star Shane Williams.

Their work will appear on the side of Robert Wiseman Dairies cartons thoughout September.

Children's charity Barnado's will benefit from the design by Fern Britton, while the National Autistic Society' president, actress Jane Asher, has contributed a piece for the group.

Shane Williams is supporting Help the Hospices, the leading charity supporting hospice Care throughout the UK. The Anthony Nolan Trust will also feature on the packs.
