Midlothian comes together

MIDLOTHIAN residents are being invited to have their say at the upcoming Bringing Our Community Together conference in Dalkeith.

The conference has been organised by the Dalkeith Youth Work Alliance, with local community representatives.

It will take place at Dalkeith Community Centre, Woodburn Road, Dalkeith, on Saturday, November 13, at 10am.

The Dalkeith Youth Work Alliance includes representatives from Midlothian Council's Community Learning and Development Team, Lothian and Borders Police, Dalkeith Youth Forum, the Bill Russell Youth Project, MYPAS and Dalkeith Community Council.

Councillor Peter Boyes, cabinet member with responsibility for communities, said: "This conference is a timely opportunity for local people to raise issues that affect them."
