Mexican restaurant to open in Capital

A NEW Mexican restaurant is to open at a popular city leisure park.

Nachos Fiesta, the brand owned by independent Scottish firm Unchained Restaurants, will open at Fountainpark Leisure Park.

It will be the fourth restaurant that the company operates.

It runs a Nachos Fiesta outlet in Gala-shiels, Goblin Ha' in Gifford, East Lothian, and a grill in Braintree, Essex.

The unit is 4000 square feet and is adjacent to the Cineworld cinema at the leisure park, which attracts more than three million visitors every year.

The company has signed a sub lease that will run until August 2024, rising to 94,000 over the first five years. Montagu Evans negotiated the lease on behalf of Punch Taverns.
