Mental health project takes Positive Steps

A NEW mental health service called Positive Steps has officially opened in Edinburgh.

The aim of the project is to offer visiting support for up to 11 people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Staff from the council's health and social care department will offer emotional support as well as supporting tenants in developing daily life skills.

Councillor Paul Edie, the council's health leader, said: "This is an excellent service."
