Mental health book historic

A BOOK has been published documenting the stories of mental health patients in the Lothians over the past two decades.

Oor Mad History was launched with the help of NHS Lothian, and covers a period of immense change in the delivery of psychiatric health.

Linda Irvine, strategic programme manager, said: "This project has sought to capture an oral history from service-user activists, supporters and allies who have all played a role in the Lothian mental health service-user movement."
