Mechanic up for top gong

A CAPITAL mechanic has been nominated for a prestigious honour for his skill in getting stuttering cars back on the road again.

RAC employee Stuart Rillie has been shortlisted for the Patrol Ambassador of the Year Award, an accolade that marks him out as an "elite" patrol.

RAC will announce the winner next Saturday.
