Market sets out its stalls

THE only farmers’ market in Midlothian will be held at the start of next month.

Stalls at the event on December 3 will include homemade baking, free range eggs, organic beef, lamb and pork, chutneys and jams.

People selling crafts will also be in attendance, offering items such as handmade jewellery, soaps, cards, gifts, pictures and books.

The event will be held at Howgate Village Hall from 7.30pm.
