Mark up and saddle up

POLICE are set to host a series of bike-marking events in a bid to make it easier to reunite stolen cycles with their owners.

The first event will be held today between noon and 2pm at Meadowbank Retail Park, when officers will add ultra-violet markings to bikes.

Marking sessions will be held at Craigleith Retail Park between noon and 2pm on May 24, followed by an event at Ocean Terminal between 5pm and 7pm on June 5, and another at Leith Links between 11am and 2pm on June 9.
