Manson weds an American

GARBAGE singer Shirley Manson has married in a secret ceremony in the US.

The Edinburgh-born star, 43, has not revealed the name of her new American husband, but said he is not a musician.

The "unromantic" ceremony took place at an LA Courthouse and the couple didn't bother with a honeymoon.

She told chat show host Craig Ferguson: "I married an American, it's fantastic. He's not a musician. It was about as unromantic as you can get."
