Man's death 'suspicious'

POLICE have launched an investigation into the "suspicious" death of a man who was found seriously injured on a footpath.

The 41-year-old was discovered in Prospecthill Circus, in the Toryglen area of Glasgow, at about 4:30pm on Sunday. He was taken to the Victoria Infirmary, where he died a short time after admission.

A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
