Man’s body found on rocks near pier

A MAN’S body has been found on rocks near a pier in Stranraer, police said.

The body was found on the seaward side of Port Logan pier on Sunday afternoon.

It has not been identified, but police said the man was in his early 20s and around five foot 10 inches tall.

He had light brown hair and was wearing a dark grey coloured top, black trousers and black shoes.

The man was found at around 2.30pm today,

Dumfries and Galloway police have asked anyone with information about who the man was and how he might have died to contact them.
