The mane attraction

Lothian and Borders Police mounted section visited Edinburgh’s only Sikh temple, the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Leith, as part of a drive to visit community groups.

Pc Keith McQuaid, an officer in the mounted section said: “Bringing the horses is a great icebreaker, and it means we can talk to adults about issues concerning them in their area, while at the same time engaging with the kids in a fun way.”
