Man taken to hospital after four-car smash at Deer Park roundabout

A 45-year-old man had to be cut from his vehicle after he was involved in a four-car crash in Livingston.

The accident on the dual carriageway happened on the A899 near Deer Park roundabout, at around 8.30am.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with neck and back injuries, authorities said.

No one else was injured in the accident.

The road was closed for around an hour while it was cleared.
