Man suffers facial injuries in club attack

A CLUBBER suffered facial injuries after being attacked in the smoking area of a city nightspot.

The 20-year-old man was seriously assaulted during the incident outside the Karma Nights club on Lothian Road at around 1am on Saturday.

The victim was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before being released.

At around the time of the assault, three men were involved in a disturbance with the club's door staff and detectives are investigating whether both events may be linked.

The first suspect is white, 5ft 7in and he was wearing a light blue denim shirt with white T-shirt underneath, cream chinos and white plimsolls.

The second suspect is white, 6ft 2in and wearing a red and black checked shirt, cream chinos and red trainers.

The third suspect is white, 5ft 7in and wearing a light blue denim shirt with white T-shirt, cream chinos and blue trainers.
