Man is 'stable' after intervening in attack

A MAN stabbed by intruders after intervening in an assault at a Glasgow flat is stable in hospital.

The 44-year-old was taken to hospital after three intruders turned on him at the flat in Dennistoun, in the early hours of yesterday. The attackers were assaulting two women before the man arrived.
