The man was near a cash machine at Tesco, in Cobden Road, Glasgow, at 11:15pm on Monday when he was attacked by a group of up to six men, who got out of a white Transit van.
He is being treated for stab wounds in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where staff describe his condition as stable.
