Man robbed of £1600 watch

A MAN was robbed at knifepoint by two muggers who made off with his £1600 watch.

The 20-year-old victim was walking on Leith Street, near the Omni Centre, at around 4.40am on Saturday when the suspects approached and started chatting to him.

As he reached the footbridge over Leith Street, one produced what is believed to have been a knife and demanded he hand over his property. The victim gave them his mobile phone, wallet and his Breitling watch.
