Man rescued after car flips

A MAN was rescued by firefighters when his car overturned and landed on its roof after clipping a park vehicle.

The man, aged 31, had been travelling along Comely Bank Road when the accident took place at 5.20pm on Saturday.

A fire service spokeswoman said: "The car overturned after it apparently clipped a parked vehicle in the street. The man was rescued by firefighters, and was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment to cuts, bruises and shock."
