Man ‘put girl into freezer’

A MAN is due to stand trial for disfiguring a four-year-old girl by forcing her into a freezer.

Stuart Kitt is said to have injured the youngster after he dragged her by the ankles and held her arms in a freezer cabinet, court papers claim.

The 33-year-old is also said to have placed the girl’s feet and body in the appliance during the alleged attack, prosecutors say.

The alleged offence was said to have taken place in the Edinburgh area in October 2007.

Defence agent Duncan Hughes lodged a special defence of incrimination on Kitt’s behalf yesterday.
