Man on mugging charge

A MAN has been arrested and charged with attempted robbery of a grandmother in a city underpass.

The incident took place at the top of Harvesters Way under Wester Hailes Road on 15 February.

Patricia Thomson, 48, was the alleged victim of a mugging.

A 29-year-old man was due to appear in court yesterday.
