Man injured in slurry machine

A MAN was airlifted to hospital yesterday after injuring himself falling into a slurry machine.

The man had injuries to his abdomen, chest and face after the incident, which happened shortly after 3:30pm.

Paramedics arrived at Townhead Mains Farm Steading, close to Cockburnspath, about half an hour later, and called for RAF assistance to transfer the man to the ERI.
