Man in hospital after Cairngorm mountain fall
The 32-year-old male climber was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on Tuesday after being injured close to the 4129ft high Angels Peak which lies between Braeriach and Cairn Toul on the western side of the Lairig Ghru pass.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Mountain rescue teams were mobilised and Rescue 137 helicopter from RAF Kinloss was dispatched.

Hide AdThe male was rescued from the mountain at approximately 4.55pm by the helicopter crew. He has been taken to Raigmore hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention for a head injury. His condition is described as stable.”
