Man in court over murder

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murdering a pub landlord.

Lee McNamara, 23, is accused of killing Steven Curran, 47, who ran the Dolphin Inn at Whitecraig in East Lothian. The father-of-two was found dead at the back of the pub on Thursday morning.

McNamara, from Musselburgh, appeared at Haddington Sheriff Court yesterday charged with murder and stealing a car. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
