Man in court over bus kiss

A MAN has appeared in court charged with kissing a woman on the hand.

Thomas Rodger, 55, faces one charge of a sexual breach of the peace and two of sexual assault for the incident on June 12.

It is alleged that while Rodger was on a Lothian No. 30 bus he began staring at and making sexual remarks about female passengers. He is then said to have kissed a female's hand and tried to touch the chest of another female passenger.

Yesterday Rodger, from Musselburgh, pleaded not guilty.
