Man in court over attack

A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a homophobic assault on a victim who was punched on the jaw.

The 27-year-old man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday to face charges of carrying out the attack on Lady Lawson Street on September 19.

A 21-year-old man has also been charged with a homophobic breach of the peace in connection with the same incident, and was also due in court yesterday.
