Man in coma after afternoon attack

A YOUNG man has been attacked so severely he is now in a medically induced coma.

The 24-year-old was pushed to the ground and kicked and punched near the Old Fountain Brewery site in Gilmore Park, Edinburgh, at about 4pm on Thursday. The attacker is a white man aged 20-30 who was wearing a white t-shirt. He ran off towards Gilmore Place.
