Man hospitalised after hit-and-run on Great Western Road

A 64 year-old man is in hospital badly injured after a car accident in Glasgow.

The man was crossing Great Western Road when he was struck by a car which then failed to stop.

He was taken to Western Infirmary, where he is being treated for multiple injuries, including serious leg injuries.
