Man held over £160,000 drug haul

A MAN has been arrested after police seized diazepam worth around £160,000.

Officers recovered the prescription drug during a search of a property in Easterhouse, Glasgow, yesterday.

A 39-year-old man was held after police acting on a warrant searched the address on Lochdochart Road at around 1pm.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today in connection with the find.
