Man held over Edinburgh pub shooting

A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting at a pub, police said today.

The 24-year-old victim needed hospital treatment after the incident in The Jocks Lodge on London Road, Edinburgh at around 8.30pm on Sunday night.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with wounds to his legs and was later released.

Lothian and Borders Police said that a 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow.
