Man guilty of threatening MSP over car

A MAN was has been found guilty of behaving aggressively towards MSP Lord George Foulkes and two student supporters.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard Alexander Donald, 47, shouted and screamed at Lord Foulkes for his insurance details because he thought the politician had reversed into his car.

Donald, of North Meggetland, Edinburgh, had denied conducting himself in a disorderly manner, shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and breaching the peace on February 3 last year at George Square but he was found guilty. He was found not guilty of assaulting Dean Carlin, 21.

Sheriff Valerie Johnston deferred sentence for Donald to show he can be of good behaviour for six months.
