Police are appealing for information after a man found injured in a car later died in hospital

• A woman seen in the area at the time of the incident is being sought in connection with the death of the 59-year-old, found in a Nissan Navara in Glasgow’s Albion Industrial Complex

The 59-year-old was found in a Nissan Navara in the Whiteinch area on Sunday afternoon.

The vehicle was discovered in Albion Industrial Complex in the city’s South Street.

The man, discovered at 4.45pm, was taken to the Western Infirmary but later died of his injuries at the hospital.

Police Scotland are reviewing CCTV images and have appealed for information regarding a woman seen in the area at the time of the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Kerr said: “We have still to establish how this man died and I am appealing to anyone who may have any knowledge about this incident, in particular, a woman who we believe was in the area at the time of the incident. It’s possible this woman may have information which could prove significant in helping us establish what has happened - please do get in touch with us.”

The woman is described as having long, dark shoulder-length hair in a ponytail and was wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers and white trainers.
