Man found dead after Aberdeenshire caravan blaze

A MAN has died following a fire in a caravan in Aberdeenshire.

Emergency services received reports of a fire at Hillhead Caravan Park in Kintore at about 1:10am yesterday, and the fire service were on the scene for two hours once the blaze was brought under control.

Appliances from Kintore and Inverurie were in attendance.

Grampian Police said a man was discovered fatally injured inside the caravan, but they could provide no further details.

The man yet to be identified last night and police said investigations into the cause of the fire were continuing. They appealed for anyone with information to get in contact.

Management at the park, which has 37 touring pitches, said they had no comment to make about the incident.
