Man falls from scaffolding in busy Glasgow city centre street

A man has fallen from scaffolding on a busy street in the city centre of Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to St Vincent Lane around 7:45am, Police Scotland have confirmed.

Police remain on the scene with Wellington Street closed between St Vincent Street and Bothwell Street.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45am on Tuesday, 26 October, officers were called to a report of a man fallen from scaffolding in St Vincent Lane in Glasgow City Centre.
