Man dies in bridge fall

POLICE have confirmed that a man has died after falling from North Bridge yesterday 
afternoon.

The body of the man was discovered in New Street car park at about 3.45pm.

Part of the pavement outside the Market Street entrance of Waverley Station was closed off but there was no disruption to services.

Ambulance crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances.
