Man dies after River Findhorn fall

A 39-year-old man has died after falling at a popular tourist attraction on the River Findhorn in Moray.

The emergency services were called to an incident at Randolph’s Leap, near Logie Steading, on Monday at around 4.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “As a result of the incident a 39 year old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, where he later passed away.

“Enquiries are on-going, but the death is being treated as non-suspicious.

“Formal identification is still to take place.”
