Man dies after diving accident on Isle of Mull

A DIVER died yesterday near Tobermory on the isle of Mull.

The dead man has not yet been named and Strathclyde Police could not confirm last night whether the man had taken ill, or had encountered problems as a result of a dive.

Tobermory Lifeboat was called out but was stood down after a charter vessel brought the man to shore. A 67-year-old diver died last month after getting into difficulties in the Sound of Mull, off Calve Island.
