Man dies after being run over by own car

A MAN died after he was run over by his own car as he tried to stop it rolling down a hill, police said today.

The incident happened outside the Diageo distillery at Port Dundas, Glasgow, around 12.55pm on Sunday.

The 46-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he died from his injuries.

Strathclyde Police said inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the tragedy.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, which involved a Toyota Auris car.
