Man critical after stabbing in street

Police are investigating the attempted murder of a man in Clydebank. A 23-year-old was stabbed during what police described as an altercation at the back of Kilbowie Court. The victim was found lying injured on the road.

He was taken to Western Infirmary in Glasgow for emergency surgery. Staff described his condition as critical but stable.
