Man in court on murder bid charge

A MAN appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday charged with attempted murder.

Douglas Fraser, of Edinburgh, is accused of attacking a man. It was also alleged he failed to report an accident near Piershill Square on 2 December.

The case was continued and Fraser, 39, was released on bail.
