Man cleared over joyride in stolen police car
A MAN climbed through the window of a Perth police station, stole the inspector’s keys and took a police 4x4 on a death-defying 20-mile joyride, a court heard yesterday.
David Mullen caused thousands of pounds worth of damage by smashing his way out of the police station before leading officers on a high-speed chase.
Police Scotland chiefs carried out an extensive security review after Mullen was able to take a £25,000 Mitsubishi Outlander.
