Man charged with pub murder

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murdering a pub landlord.

Lee McNamara, 23, is accused of killing Steven Curran, 47, who ran the Dolphin Inn at Whitecraig in East Lothian. The father of two was found dead at the back of the pub on Thursday morning.

McNamara, from Musselburgh, appeared at Haddington Sheriff Court yesterday charged with murder and stealing a car. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
