Man charged with murder over body found in Glasgow flat

A man appeared in court charged with murder today after police found a body in a flat last month.

The body of John Brennan, 35, was discovered in his flat in Cockenzie Street in Glasgow's Shettleston area on September 2.

David James McPhee, 41, was charged with murder at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
