Man charged with murder

A MAN appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a businessman who was shot dead in a flat.

Officers found the body of Mohammed Nadeem Siddique, 38, from Kirkcaldy, when they arrived at a house in the Fife town on 24 October.

Tencho Hristov Andonov, 27, from Livingston, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, the Crown Office said. He was charged with murder, attempted murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The Crown Office said that no plea or declaration was made and Andonov was remanded in custody.
