Man charged with double murder

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murders of his grandmother and aunt.

Lee Browne is accused of stabbing Maureen Allen, 79, and Geraldine Allen, 57, at their home in Fulwood, Preston. Post-mortem examinations showed both victims suffered multiple stab wounds.

Officers discovered their bodies at about 2am on Monday when they were called to reports of a fire at the semi-detached bungalow in Longfield.
