Man charged with attempted murder

A MAN will appear in court today charged with attempted murder.

The 39-year-old suspect was charged yesterday following an incident on 2 December when a male was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Portobello Road, Edinburgh. The man is scheduled to appear appear at the sheriff court in the city.
