Man charged over youth's eye injury

A MAN aged 43 has been charged after a teenager lost his sight in one eye following an alleged assault.

Edward Watt, 19, was left with serious facial injuries after the alleged attack in the Oxgangs area of Edinburgh on Friday.

The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 12 March.
