Man charged over remarks

A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual breach of the peace after alleged indecent remarks were made to a pensioner walking her dog along a beach.

A 26-year-old man was charged by police following the incident, which took place at the beach at Whitesands, near Dunbar, East Lothian at around 2.15pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The man was arrested by officers and is set to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court at a later date.

The woman contacted police after being approached by a man who made sexual comments.
