Man charged over PO raid

A MAN has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a post office when a clerk was held up by a masked raider wielding a sword.

The man was due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday following the robbery at the Knightsridge post office in Livingston on Tuesday afternoon.

A masked man and his female accomplice went into the post office and the man launched an assault on the male clerk.

They made off on bikes with at least 10,000 in cash.
